Henri Matisse, in what he called his Second Life, created a  world full of color through large paper cut-outs.  His ‘painting with scissors’ is his most influential work and  many of the pieces are circus themed.  Combining geometric principles and paper cut-outs,  the Circus Arts Conservatory teaching artists will come to your school to help students create a playful paper cut-out creation. Polygons and quadrilaterals will  be explored.  A workbook will be provided.
