Students will explore natural cycles that regulate and balance our biosphere.  Students will be trained as field researchers who collect, record, and interpret data on the natural cycles occurring in backyard environments.  Students will rotate between stations and physically experience science while observing three of the following: carbon cycle, plant reproductive cycle, nutrient cycle, and decomposition cycle.  Students will move about UF/IFAS Extension demonstration grounds to discover the marvels of Earth’s natural cycles that occur all around us.

This exploration is done in combination with Patriot Plaza’s exploration entitled “Stories of Patriotism and Information”. Transportation will be provided via charter bus.
