This exploration is provided by the Sarasota Bay Estuary Program with Around the Bend Nature Tours. Students will experience life as a young alligator as they rotate among 6 different wetland habitats to learn about the challenges alligators face for survival, both natural and man-made.  Students will record their alligator’s life journey in a diary so that they can write a story about their adventures back in the classroom. This activity incorporates natural science as well as language arts standards.
