Students will head out into Sarasota Bay to understand the important role estuaries play in our ecosystem through discovering what lives in the seagrass beds and sand flats as we collect marine animals with dip nets, seine nets, and core samplers. Students and teachers will learn data collection techniques and gain access to real data that can be used and analyzed in a variety of ways.
