Explore the inner workings of a flower with our Plant Parts Flower Dissection at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens’ Downtown Sarasota campus (grades 3-5)

Children love to take things apart to see how they work, and that includes plants! In this engaging hands-on lab, students will carefully disassemble flowers piece by piece, to discover its anatomy and learn how each part functions and contributes to its reproduction. Aided by high-quality visuals, students will gain a greater understanding of the process and importance of pollination.
