Fantastic, wild and impressively detailed, Rainforest Masks of Costa Rica, a popular Selby Gardens exhibit returns annually to the Museum of Botany and the Arts.  This year, the masks will be here from January 7-28, 2018.

Don’t miss bringing your class to see our gallery of over 200 hand-carved and painted rainforest masks.  These original works depict the vibrant and authentic Borucan culture of central Costa Rica and provide a breathtaking glimpse into the flora and fauna of the rainforest.  After viewing and sketching uniquely inspiring elements of these masks, students will have the opportunity to apply their experience by creating their own rainforest masks, drawing from either the tropical rainforest or from our natural environment here in Southwest Florida.
