What’s the difference between a rock, mineral and fossil?  In this Suncoast Science Center exploration, students will learn the differences between the three, observe examples of each, and learn to identify the three different types of rock and how they are formed.  Students will also work in small groups to identify mystery mineral samples through observing physical properties such as luster, cleavage structure, color, streak color, and hardness. For grades 4, 6 and 7.
