Did you know that all magic is based on science? Well it is! Use these Science inspired concepts (brought to life by the Circus Arts Conservatory) to amaze your friends! This is a recorded lesson.
- Levitating Ball: Make a ball magically float using the forces of your own body and a few supplies from home! Be prepared to use these household items: paper, tape, ping pong ball, a bendy straw (another straw may work, but bendy will work best).
- Fireworks in a Jar: Make unique “fireworks” you can look at inside! Be prepared to use these household items: food coloring, a small cup, a mason jar (or another tall and wide glass container), canola or vegetable oil, water.
Essential concepts: force, acceleration, mass, friction, potential and kinetic energy, density.
