Find out what’s lurking in our watershed and water supply!  During this two-part exploration from Suncoast Science Center, students will become acquainted with the importance of plankton in the ecosystem, understand the process and purpose of water quality testing through hands-on lab testing, identify point and non-point sources of pollution in a watershed, and understand the effects of pollution on the coastal zone. For grades 5-8.

Please note:  This exploration is a two part program that consists of two class periods.  This program will be scheduled over the course of two days. They do not have to be consecutive days, but should be scheduled within the same week to maximize program effectiveness.
